Wedding on the Costa Blanca

The bride and groom chose to have a wedding on the Costa Blanca. To be precise they had their Big day in Rebate. The wedding day started with Matthew getting ready with their little boy and his best man in a villa on the Orihuela Costa. Meghan, her bridesmaids and her kids got ready in a country house called Pinoscalzo . A lovely house with a pool for 16 people.

The ceremony

At Rebate the lovely set up in the chapel was stunningly arranged by Oh Canela florist. The ceremony was conducted by their own priest from England whom they flew to Spain. It was a lovely, emotional and happy ceremony with live music provided by their talented friends. After the church bells rang, flower petals were thrown and the first happy photo as husband and wife was made.

Cocktail hour

Time for the cocktail hour! A lot of fun was had, canapes were eaten and drinks were drunk. Rebate’s famous sangria, beer, cava and wines were served. The show cooking was done by Rebate’s chef, the Spanish ham was served, the veggie corner was set up as well as the rest of the food corners.Evela made sure all the planning and organizing was done and made sure the wedding day ran smooth. She did a fantastic job as always.

The private terrace where the wedding banquet and party takes place was beautifully decorated. A tropical look and feel with pampas grass, greenery, hessian table cloths etc.

After the speeches and wedding meal it was time for the father and daughter dance and their first dance. After the first dance of the happy couple dj Miguel got all the guests dancing with them and they partied all night enjoying their free bar.

sheriphotography: I am a photographer located on the Costa Blanca about ten minutes from Torrevieja and in between Alicante and Murcia. I cover most areas and places on the coast where a lot of couples choose to get married such as Altea, Benidorm, Javea, Mar Menor, San Miguel. Marbella and more. I am married and we have two little boys called Luca and Joshua. Because my husband and I share the same passion, they are probably the most photographed kids in the world. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by cameras. It all started because my favourite uncle had a camera around his neck. I would follow him around and try to pursuade him to let me hold the camera and take some pictures. I couldn't wait to see the results. When I was around 17, I took a couple of courses to develop my skills a bit more and after a while I worked as a second shooter along side a very good professional photographer, who thought me even more. I 've also got my intermediate vocational education in PR, Marketing and Management and Higher Vocational Education in HRM. I left the corporates behind me to pursue my true passion! Haven't seen the whole world yet so that might change in the future but I doubt it though... Favourite programs: Suits, Scandal, Grey's anatomy, Revenge, Breaking Bad.
