Wedding in Moraira – Hochzeit in Moraira

These two lovebirds came to meet me on the border of Holland and Germany last December for the first meet and greet and I couldn’t wait to shoot their destination wedding as it was sooo well organised with lots of eye for detail and not to forget their stunningness if there is such a word 😉

They have known eachother for twenty years and finally they are tying the knot!! The love they feel for one another is sooo wonderful to see. Actually during both their speeches and vows I had to wipe tears away….

The wedding

I started the perfect wedding day with prep shots of beauty bride Janine. She got ready with her sister and her mum at their holiday villa in Moraira. Followed by the wedding ceremony overlooking the sea in Moraira. After the lovely ceremony at Circle park there was the reception with time for bubbles and a few group photos and after that we went to all of the happy couple’s favorite places in Moraira for the B&G photos. Different locations in Moraira that were special to newlyweds, like the Moraira castle and their favourite restaurants in town where they have enjoyed romantic dinners.

After the shoot we went back to the lounge Upperclub, Club Nautico Moraira, for some yummy cocktails and speeches followed by the wedding banquet at Restaurante Bela Dama’s (all the same location but different areas) and their delicious wedding cake. As you can see there was a theme to this wedding and every little wedding detail fitted the theme. The wedding party was at the Upperclub with a DJ and drinks, lots of drinks. Everybody had a fab time on Bambi and Thumper’s wedding!!

Janine and Carsten, thank you for chosing me to be your weddingphotographer on your special day, it was my pleasure! I wish you both all the best for the future and that it may be filled with love, joy and happiness and………. as your mum say’s lots of kids;-)
