Wedding in Villajoyosa- Monica and Thomas

Norwegian wedding in Spain

This gorgeous destination wedding started in Torrevieja and ended in Villajoyosa in Spain.

The day started with prep shots of Thomas and his mates on the Orihuela Costa. They were having some good laughs and a couple of beers to calm the nerves;-)

Monica got ready with her bridesmaid in the salon of Heidi in Torrevieja, She looked stunning in her lovely dress. She went to the church, Sjomannkirken in Torrevieja in luxury car with Tuxedo Limousines.

The ceremony took place in Sjomannskirken in Torrevieja and was followed by some B&G shots at Torre del Moro. I had a giggle with the newlyweds whilst photographing their bride and groom photographs. After that, we went to the 5-star Montibolli Hotel in Villajoyosa. They were welcomed there with champagne and canapes which was followed by a deliciouswedding meal and lots of speeches. Norwegian people have lots of speeches on their wedding day.

Their wedding cake was made by Valerie of Cakemagic and looked amazing as usual. As you can see on the photos, you can also use it as face cream ;-). Monica’s best friend had a nice surprise for them, a dance done by some of the tiny and grown up guests. This was the dance they choreographed together years ago.

Special thanks to Randi, the wedding planner from Spaniabryllup for making the day run smoothly.

Have a look at some pictures below, hope you like them!

sheriphotography: I am a photographer located on the Costa Blanca about ten minutes from Torrevieja and in between Alicante and Murcia. I cover most areas and places on the coast where a lot of couples choose to get married such as Altea, Benidorm, Javea, Mar Menor, San Miguel. Marbella and more. I am married and we have two little boys called Luca and Joshua. Because my husband and I share the same passion, they are probably the most photographed kids in the world. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by cameras. It all started because my favourite uncle had a camera around his neck. I would follow him around and try to pursuade him to let me hold the camera and take some pictures. I couldn't wait to see the results. When I was around 17, I took a couple of courses to develop my skills a bit more and after a while I worked as a second shooter along side a very good professional photographer, who thought me even more. I 've also got my intermediate vocational education in PR, Marketing and Management and Higher Vocational Education in HRM. I left the corporates behind me to pursue my true passion!
